Growth Isn’t Linear.
As humans we stand up right. We walk on two feet and hold ourselves in a vertical direction. This is distinct for our species and is one of the many attributes that innately makes us human.
Yet somewhere along the way, we’ve confused our posture with our growth.
A wise yogi once shared, growth isn’t linear.
Although we may measure our height, our age & even our progress in school using a linear pattern of numbers, our growth as individuals can’t be measured using a linear pattern.
> Learning is a micro cycle of human evolution <
We must challenge ourselves to identify when we’re in repetitive, non-learning cycles. These types of cycles can come in the form of an unfulfilling relationship or job and may display as symptoms of over consuming as a form of self pacification.
Here’s the deal- our strongest cycles of growth can come when we move beyond the familiar, when we open ourselves up to experiences that can be physically or emotionally challenging.
> Only you can initiate the change to break your cycles <
If you find yourself moving thru the same routines, the same cycles without growth, it’s time for a change.
